We are ecstatic!
Our Chairperson and Founder, Mrs Beverly Denbury, has recently been honoured by the British Foreign & Commonwealth Office for 'Service to Britain Internationally and Overseas'. This honour, which has been bestowed upon 80 exceptional Britons around the globe, is part of The Queen's Birthday Honours. Bev will receive her medal from The Queen or another Member of the Royal Family. This prestigious MBE recognition, which was recently announced on Fri 07 June 2019, is for Bev's tireless contribution to charity and voluntary work in the area of Breast Cancer Awareness in Botswana. As a brave Breast Cancer Fighter herself, Bev's compassion, empathy, determination and fighting spirit have contributed to spreading awareness and saving the lives of many women (and a few men) who would have otherwise detected their cancer late, due to lack of awareness. 2019 marks the 10th year that Journey of Hope Botswana has been spreading awareness, under Bev's unwavering guidance. We couldn't be prouder! https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/…/Birthday-Honours…
