Have you seen our pink bikes at a clinic near you?
Speaking of clinics, when was the last time you visited yours to have your breasts checked?

Over the next months, we will be sharing memories from our decade of taking Breast Cancer Awareness throughout Botswana. Enjoy the (pink) ride!
We are attending the launch of the 3rd National Strategic Framework for HIV & AIDS.
We are particularly interested in the MultiSectional Strategy for Prevention and Control of Non Communicable Diseases, as breast cancer is classified under NCDs. — attending Launch of NCDs Multi-Sectoral Strategy and NSF III at GICC. We are ecstatic!
Our Chairperson and Founder, Mrs Beverly Denbury, has recently been honoured by the British Foreign & Commonwealth Office for 'Service to Britain Internationally and Overseas'. This honour, which has been bestowed upon 80 exceptional Britons around the globe, is part of The Queen's Birthday Honours. Bev will receive her medal from The Queen or another Member of the Royal Family. This prestigious MBE recognition, which was recently announced on Fri 07 June 2019, is for Bev's tireless contribution to charity and voluntary work in the area of Breast Cancer Awareness in Botswana. As a brave Breast Cancer Fighter herself, Bev's compassion, empathy, determination and fighting spirit have contributed to spreading awareness and saving the lives of many women (and a few men) who would have otherwise detected their cancer late, due to lack of awareness. 2019 marks the 10th year that Journey of Hope Botswana has been spreading awareness, under Bev's unwavering guidance. We couldn't be prouder! https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/…/Birthday-Honours… This Saturday we will be giving a presentation on Self Examination, and The Fighters Support Group will have some of their brave ladies also speaking about their personal experiences with cancer.
Hope to see you there. We visited the Ernst & Young offices in Gaborone recently, to TOUCH.LOOK.CHECK.
The whole team dressed in pink, for the occasion, which was a visual treat! It was also refreshing to get lots of thought-provoking questions about Breast Cancer, from both the men and women who attended. If you would like us to visit your team for a breast cancer awareness talk and self-examination presentation, drop us an email on pr@joh.org.bw Thank you to the Breast Cancer Awareness Heroes and Heroines who ran the Diacore Gaborone Marathon yesterday.
And they're off! Thank you to the thousands of men, women and children who woke up early today to run for Breast Cancer Awareness.
